Hey Dreamers,
It's me again with another question.

Okay, well first of all I would like to say that I am very thankful that the immigration custom or whoever it is, is looking at my application.
So that's good! But the problem is that I received an RFE... Its crazy because in the letter it says that I showed proof from 2007- 2011.... NOT !

I gave my lawyer everything, proof from 2004 to like 2012... so I don't understand why I got an RFE I have almost 10 years living here. and they think that I only have 4.. so I guess that's why they need more proof.

I am still living with my parents, I'm 19 years old and obviously everything is under my parents name. so I don't know how to prove to them that I've been living with them since the beginning. no bills are under my name.. nothing. only my bank statements.. but its just things I buy from amazon or when I go out to eat, etc.

Besides, I showed them all my middle school transcripts from 2004- 2007 when I graduated from middle school and then high school, 2007 - 2011 so I don't understand why they are asking for more evidence....

do you guys think that it was my lawyer the one that fucked up my application? or was it the USCIS?

is anyone having the same problem? help me maybe???

Thanks!!

Sounds like you need more proof for 2012. If you use facebook you can actually send posts that include the geo tag location of the post along with the date. I used that for the whole year of 2012 because I don't have a bank account number nor my cell phone under my name. Also, if you go to the general account settings you can download your whole facebook data. It includes IP addresses, GEO tag information and all log ins made. Good luck!

I believe you could also send in e-mails. What about bank statements for 2012? Did you have to go to your consulate and get a passport/ID? Because that also shows presence.

Just think of anything and everything you did in 2012.

Just think of anything and everything you did in 2012 before you sent in your application. Re-send it if you must. Can't you ask your lawyer if he/she sent everything

Mods can you delete this post I didn't mean to post the same thing.

I will ask my lawyer if he sent everything because he probably didn't, I mean I gave him my middle school transcripts and then my high school transcripts and my diploma that's like 7 years right there!! 3 in middle school and 4 in high school.. this is ridiculous!! lol I'm gonna rage at him for not sending the right information. that ass!

So you need proof from 2007-2011? Or what? Doesn't make sense. You said the letter says you showed evidence from 2007-2011.

You only need to show evidence from 5 years ago. Not 10.

I think he sent evidence from 10 years back, and the RFE letters says he submitted evidence from 2007-2011, and he's wondering why it says that he only submitted evidence for those 4 years.

OP, the reason for that is because you only need to prove continuous residence from 2007 until now. The evidence you sent prior to 2007 doesn't matter. That means you're missing evidence from 2012 to now.

To be honest I really hate lawyers and other people that are suppose to help you and they dont..they really don't care much about your case as you do but they do care about the money lol...i got a RFE because i was missing evidence for the year 2010 and I wonder why the hell did the lady that I payed to help me didn't notice that before sending my application?

I really think that if you don't have any criminal records or anything that you know its going to get on the way to getting approve just do everything by yourself and don't hire anybody that will only make you loose time.

Going back to your post: there must be something you could show as proof...like I told you I was missing info for the year 2010 and I only sent them a letter from AT&T telling them that I had service with at&T from may 2009 to october 2010..and also a cell phone bill from metropcs showing I had service from 208 to 2013...so I guess that helped but i was a little scared when I sent that but today I received an approval notice so just look for anything you might have...perhaps you could get affidavits.

Yesss !! Thats what I meant to say. The RFE letter says that I only showed them proof of residency from 2007 - 2011. but Okay I see what you're saying... :/ so I guess they do need 2012 proof. Well all I got are all of my bank statements, like purchases and stuff that were done in 2012... thats honestly all, Oh and a letter from the bank that says how long I've had my account open . I hope that's enough for them... Any suggestions? what else can I gather?
