Do they still give out tracking number on EAD?

My EAD was shipped yesterday morning, but there was never a tracking number?

My sister and cousin both had a tracking numbers immediately after the shipment(but they were approved long time ago). Is it normal?

There are two different updates. One that says that they have shipped the card to the address they have on file and the other update says that USPS has picked up the card. The second update is the one that shows the tracking number.

I never got a tracking number even with the update about USPS picking up my card, and I received my card so I wouldn't worry.

I think USCIS started putting the tracking numbers on the status during mid December. Early December, people were still calling in to get their tracking number, when my EAD was shipped out, my status had the tracking number.

On March 14, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. But no tracking number.

Your card hasn't really been shipped. You should get another update after that one.

It will say On ___________________ USPS picked up your card.

That update will have your tracking number.

I just got my tracking number lol
