Just filed my Ombudsman today.... I am SOOOO nervous...

I know everyone's case is different, but my best friends, who I went to Middle and High School with have been approved... my brother, whom I pretty much filled the application for, and we mailed it out THE SAME DAY, we wento to do our biometrics THE SAME DAY has also been approved...

these facts don't help my anxiety
But I have no choice... I joined the club on 2/28/13 so its been 6 mos and 14/16 days????

I will keep everyone posted on the Ombudsman... I have already received a confirmation email saying they will contact me to say how they can assist me in the next 45 days or immediately if they cannot help me.

I keep trying to figure out why its taking so long. The new figures out show over $185,000 dreamers who applied after me have been approved, why? I have no criminal record, lived in one place for the seven and a half years that I have been in the US, have an un common name, still in college getting good grades. All I can think is the fact I have a social and at one stage was here legally until I aged out, turned 21, is the only thing delaying the process. Also I tried many ways to remain here legally before my 1-94 expired but was denied due to turning 21. One thing I do know is that I can prove I am here illigally as USCIS denied my F1 application and the reason being that my lawful staus had expired and to apply while in the US a requirement is being in legal staus.

Do you guys think that they're prepping for CIR? That's gotta slow down our process.. I join this club tomorrow btw.
