oklahoma approved

so i should be getting my EAD according to USPS and i was hoping to find any oklahoma ppl who already been throught the whole process of optaining their SSN and DL. since ive never had any of them and on many of the threads it seems that many things vary by state i was hoping i can get some local input.


some of the questions going through my head are about the supposed 10 day wait to go apply for your ssn? where did you go?
also found some threads about some people got a ssn print out and where able to get their OK DL written test with that? any other info would be greatly apreciated.

CONGRATS!!!

I applied for my SSN 3 days after I got my EAD. Showed 2 pic ID's, provided basic info (DOB, Address, Parents' last name, birthplace). For the written test I showed my EAD & SSN (you must answer 15 out of 20 correctly-questions). For driving test, vehicled must be in good mechanical condition & show proof of insurance. My DL is only valid for 2 yrs & has "TEMPORARY" in red across it.

ok so i went in today at 8 they opened at 9 and i was literally out of there in 15 minutes, took a folder full of papers like birth certificate, school record, and other thing i know it wasnt a requirement but i took them just in case...all i showed was my EAD, my matricula consular and my school id (cuz she said she didnt know if i could use my matricula consular as i dont have a passport) so matricular consular does work for this process... that said should be getting my ssn in 7-10 days she said, no to wait and as soon as it arrives to get my license!
