Jaja i had to go back and read it... I thought it was the generic response until i saw Jjglo laugh...
I said wha who made him laugh for once...

I was part of the 6 month club. USCIS received my application on August 31st, 2012. When I received the receipts for both of my applications there was a typo on my dob. I filed for them to be corrected and according to uscis it had been corrected a couple of weeks later. I did my biometrics on the 1st of october, yet on the 6th of march I received a letter stating that there was a high volume of applications and that mine was finally under review by an officer. Of course, i've been arrested a few times and have a record. Nothing too serious, due to family friends being lawyers and always getting me out of trouble. I filed an application through ombudsman cause I was desperate to know what was going on with my application on the 11th of March. I ended up getting call back from them 3 days later saying my application was approved. But it gets better... when I received my EAD my dob was incorrect again. I had to call USCIS to have it corrected and send me a new card. So I'm just waiting for my new one to arrive.

For everyone getting desperate, be patient!

Need to change the name to the 7 month club. This really sucks!!!

After about 7 years of fighting for my Immigration Status
My DACA was finally approved after 6 months and 22 days since I applied.
First thing i did as soon as I saw the word approved was thank God on my knees.
It has not only has been a physical struggle but an emotional and mental one as well.
This situation messed deeply with my thoughts and physical actions as a contributing member to society. But I thank God that it did not mess with my Spirit. Where my heart failed, where my mind failed and where my own will failed, my Spirit did not fail. Because the Spirit of God lives within my Spirit that was redeemed by Christ. For the Holy Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

The only reason I was able to stand this long was because of God. I know that. But I confess that in my moment of doubts it was not doubting Him but doubting myself and my failing strength. but some how i always woke up the next day breathing. Thank you Jesus Christ and thank you to those you prayed with me. Over the phone encouraging me through txts, even listened when I cried in front you.

Today is the first day of spring!
The definition of spring is to move or jump suddenly upward or forward.
and that is exactly what my life did today.

What Happen?
Well Emailed my lawyer and my state rep in the afternoon then BCCed ( NOT CCed) in the email a whole bunch of uscis emails that I could find on their website on online.

I talked to you over the phone last week. Asking if you and Congresswoman Debbie can help me out with my immigration case.
Attached is the release form. It took me some time to print it. This past week has been very depressing and difficult for me. I have a court date for removal proceedings March 26, 2013 at 10am. (I might bring the community out to support me who knows.)
I know you and Congresswoman Debbie will do the best you guys can.

I received word from a friend of mine that sent out his application the same day and to the same location as my DACA application and got approved very recently after taking some actions.Below is what he told me what happened.

"There is no point in looking at the app# at this point. There is no way of telling how they are processing it.
The only reason I got approved Today was thanks to my lawyer being pissed off. She emailed the service center until one of the high-level officer responded, which was yesterday afternoon. They basically said it was collecting dust and handed it over to a officer to review it...and I woke up this morning with approvals.

So my suggestion is you get your (if you have one) lawyer to email and call the service center until someone responds with a real answer. It's basically the people handling the applications...if they just started looking at all the applications we wouldn't be waiting that long.

I (Elias) will be contacting my lawyer and asking her to do the same. Maybe with your office and my lawyer's office calling and emailing the USCIS Vermont service center it will pushed them to take my case out of the dust pile.

All in all, I just want to work and actually pay taxes and go to college. I Graduated with as an Advance Placement Student with a 3.8 GPA winning district and state Florida thespian awards, I am active in the community especially with feeding the homeless in Downtown Miami. I didn't stop my studies but only paying what I can afford. I have only gone to Bible seminary school. And I have a vision to bring performing arts to poor communities in Miami. I want to study mass communication and master Public relations.

All in all I just wan to work, pay taxes and go to college.

What does BCC mean?
Cc means "carbon copy" and Bcc means "Blind Carbon Copy".
If you want to email someone and put them on Cc, all receipients will be able to see who you sent to.
Now if you put them all on Bcc, your receipients will not be able to see who you sent to
I sent the email above ( in red) to the state rep and bcc means i can send to other people without them knowing i sent it to a LOT of other people as well. but case in point some of the emails that i bcced was [email protected] , [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. ( maybe you should CC a couple of national news station that should get there attention)
WHO KNOWS MAYBE I SCARED THEM INTO GETTING MY APP DONE. I just thank God
