Congrats Dean! That is great news!

What DMV? How long did the test last? Were you nervous? Was your instructor mean?

I went to the one on Flamingo. I made an appointment at 8:00 am, so I could be over with it fast... plus I get to miss school. haha jk.

But really, yeah I was nervous. It was easy though, especially parallel parking. The space is waaaaay big. My instructor was stern, but not mean. I thought I wasn't going to pass at first because I went over the speed limit by 2 miles one time, but luckily she did not see. haha I feel so relieved.

So I'm trying to gear up for an approval here.

Any ideas of places that are hiring right now? I have previous work experience in an office environment, but I would like to get into retail.

Quiet offices didn't really do it for me. BUT, I will take anything at this point. Haha.

i would aim for the casinos

@ Dean: Congratulations Dean! You are one step closer. I had a similar experience with the speed limit. My instructor seemed distracted by the heat. Also, I recently had to order a new license since I recently turned 21. I had to upgrade to the horizontal looking license.

@thatfernykid: Ask around if anyone is hiring. That is always the best method. I, for sure, know that walmart and target are hiring. Apply online at many places, and cruise the malls for shops and ask for applications.

To All: The new water park is going to open soon (memorial day). That's going to be pretty awesome. And yes, they are going to be hiring a lot of people.

Oh that's right wet n wild, my girlfriend lives down the street from there. Loan places usually pay $12+ so that wouldn't be a bad idea.

Today while i was at work my eda went into card production, but my daca is still in initial review, so i'm pretty much approved . hope my other vegas ppl get approved soon!
