Maybe your biometrics letter is just taking a while since you are CA, maybe it takes them longer to schedule it since they are probably busier, and a way bigger state. I much rather go on my scheduled time anyway, I feel like they give themselves time go through your stuff and being early might make them feel hurried. I hope you get your appointment soon!

So my app got transferred to my "local office" according to the USCIS website, but today I got the corresponding notice in the mail and it says it was sent to the Nebraska Service Center bc that office has jurisdiction over the case...weird? Not really sure what that means for the case

I am really not sure what that means either, maybe they are backed up so they transferred??? I saw this thread if you want to check it out, it seems to have happened to a lot of people lately.

Thank you! I'm 26 years old. I've noticed its very random on how they approve. Idk maybe they like my "sob story" on my I-765 worksheet?!? I got laid off mid January, and I am pregnant, I'm due in about 4 weeks, and I put that as a reason on why I need to work. That and my husband and I are sooo broke because we can't pay all the bills on his pay check and well I can't find a job being this pregnant, and that I don't wish to mooch of the government for aid for my baby when I can perfectly work.

ugh I feel like this thing is playing with my brain, watch in a few mins they will change it back to initial review and be like " ha just kidding"!

I saw that you did your biometrics 9 days ago and you got approved pretty quick that's awesome and congrats, I did my bios on the 5th. And my app is also at the Texas service center so I'm hoping I get approved soon too,
