hi all i know no one is a lawyer in here but i just want someone elses point of view on my situation....i have two court cases pending one for intent to sell and another for assault, now dont judge too quickly both of them were complete misshaps and its just bad luck that i have ...still that doesnt make them dissaper, so do u guys think this will become an issue if the Dream Act gets passed most likely that it will. right?

Yes it will become an issue. Background checks will be done. Persons must prove that they have moral values, i.e. not breaking the Law.

By misshaps and bad luck, are you saying that you did not do anything wrong?

Don't think so... sorry. I guess you can give it a try if something does pass but I doubt they'll have mercy.

My friend got caught smoking weed at our high school, and he got charge with possesion. He did like 2 weeks in some detetion center it was not in even real jail. However before he was to be released USCIS agents came and they deported him. The worst part is that he was a permanent resident. So guys if DREAM does become a law, you must still behave until you guys can apply for citizenship. Permanent residents can still get deported. Now in your case, you should contact a lawyer and explain your details to them. Maybe there is a way to help you don't lose faith.

Well, for DACA. If you have three or more misdemeanors you won't qualify. Let us know how it goes.

CONTACT A LAWYER!!!

Don't give up so easy. I agree your case is difficult but speak with a lawyer and explain him the details on your case.
