It doesn't tell me how long the license is for. I also want to know did it only ask you for the ss number or did it actually ask you to show the card?

If you have enough points, then no, if not , then yes, cause ss card worth 2-3 points.

Why is it so important to know how long the license is for?

I suppose doing your own search is too difficult. According to this thread, Massachusetts issues regular licenses to DACA holders.

Here is a list of acceptable documents.
EAD for Date of Birth
Social Security Card for Signature and SSN
Bank Statement, or Utility Bill, or Tuition bill, etc... for MA residency proof.

The thing is that I haven't received my EAD yet, but I already have an SS. But it says VALID WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION on it. So i wanna know if they're going to only ask me for the number or ask for the physical card itself. Is no one from mass. here, that's impossible.

You need the EAD first. Without it you have no document that you can use as proof of date of birth. (Ie. legal presence).

With social you can just give them the number, but then you need another document to be a proof of signature (EAD can't serve as both Date of birth + signature), and really only thing that you can use then is either an out of state driver license, selective service card, or a lease agreement.

They won't care that the social security card has that text on it.

MA resident here and i only brough the SSN printout that the SS office gave me + old DL's + translated and original birth certificate + proof of residence. I never showed them my EAD or SSN card.

Since you probably don't have old driver's license, you need another document to prove either your date of birth or signature. That would be your EAD card.

I do have an older driver's license. An out of state. So I can use that. What'd you use as your proof of residence?
