As long as you remain an alien you have to notify USCIS of any address changes. Even LPRs have to do this.

Yes, and I will be doing that soon. Might want to hop to the uscis website to see if the ar-11 is the only form or thing you have to file.

i moved shortly after i sent in my paperwork. when i knew for sure that i was moving (i already knew the new address) i changed my address with USCIS. this was before my bios.

at my bios, i informed the lady that took my finger prints that i had moved and if she could update my address on her computer. she told me that she could not do it on her computer but if i had already filed my AR-11 that i should be fine. she also informed me that, filing the AR-11 online, by mail, and changing my address with the post office would cover all my bases.

since i moved, i have not had any problems receiving anything from USCIS.

i would suggest that if you barely did your bios, that you change your address with USCIS ASAP!! dont wait until you are approved because that could cause all your USCIS mail to go to your old address and possible be sent back to USCIS. which means getting anything back from USCIS takes longer.

so i moved like a week ago and today did a service request by phone to do a change of address. My case is still pending but it was transferred from Vermont to Nebraska in Feb. so the guy did the change of address for both my I765 and I821 and he told me i still have to do a AR-11 so what i am asking is...............

can you guys help me fill it out and....... where is said "I am in the United States as" what do i put there and also where is said "If not a Permanent Resident,
my stay in the U.S. expires on" do i put the date my I-95 expired of when my visa expired. Also is that all i have to do when i move.

o and i forgot to tell you guys he said that i should receive something in 15 days about the service request

Thanks in advance

I'd put: Lawfully present alien under DACA (C33)

Fill out the boxes marked with the red asterisk.

The form also ask for my a # but i am still in pending so do i put the a# on my receipt or should i wait to see if i am approved then use that # they put on the work permit? Also is it okay if i leave the field with the asterisk blank as not_today suggested and is that all i need to do when you are moving (service request for change of address and mail in a AR-11)

As soon as you are assigned an alien number, you can start using it for everything immigration related even if you have pending cases and whatnot.

The expiration date field is not marked with an asterisk, so you can leave it blank. When they pull up your immigration file based on your alien number, they'll be able to confirm some of the information you've given them on the change of address form and determine that you are here illegally.
