i went in today to apply for instate at NVCC, they denied me because, deferred action does not count toward instate tuition application. this was at the alexandria campus. Has anyone else tried at any other campus' or know a way around it?

Yes, i have proof that i've lived in VA for 1+year.

It means they are sending your app to a different office in because they have too big of a workload. It should result in faster processing

GMUdreamer, are you paying in-state or out-of-state tuition at Mason?

I graduated from Mason and paid in-state. I'm not sure why they gave it to me, I'm guessing it was because I had a social and my parents had filed taxes in VA for years

Sure. I took my passport (not sure if it was even necessary), both my approval letters, my EAD card, my social security card and my high school transcript. This latter one as proof of residency.
