Biometrics: 11-06-2012
I called and spoke to an agent and he told me that the application gets processed at a Service center. In my case it was Vermont. He said they handle the background checks along with the biometrics. He said that when its transfered to a local USCIS office is when they are going make a decision on the application. I don't think he knew what he was talking about.
