Hello all!

I got my EAD approved back in January and after a ton of resume-sending, hair-pulling, and interviews, I finally got a job in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of DC (ie, not well-paid). I currently live in NYC so I don't know the Washington DC area well. I know that there are Dreamers in DC so if there's anyone out there, can you guys tell me where you are living so that I can start my search there? Is there anyone else out there looking for a subletter/roommate? If so, pick me!!

Ideally, I'd like to pay under $800/month for rent (and hopefully, utilities). I'm quiet, female, I'll keep to myself, and if you like to eat, I like to bake. At this point, I'll be willing to travel up to 35-45 minutes if the place is close to the Metro Station (I can't drive). If any Dreamers out there have a room to rent starting basically now, I'd also seriously appreciate the help. Seriously, ask your parents, ask your friends. I'm starting to worry that I won't be able to find housing in time. And yes, I've checked Craigslist and Reddit for housing already.

Thanks for reading!
