DACA needs green card sponsor?

One of my friend filed for DACA in early September and still hasn't been approved.

Today, my sister told me that his case needs 3 green card sponsor. I was completely shocked because the whole thing sounds insane.

Is it true or he is just making up excuse for his denial. We suspect that he has committed something serious, but there's no way to know what it is.

Everyone I know applied before October is approved. He is the only exception.

I am not really understanding what you are saying. Did your friend tell your sister he needs a green card sponsor? or your sister told you he needs a green card sponsor?

For DACA you don't need a green card sponsor.

I believe he fabricated a story to cover up something. Ask him for his case number or form to fill out the "3 sponsors" and check the status online

Not true and who the hell cares? Why even bother calling him out on a lie.. He got denied.. What difference does it make in your life? Nothing lol the poor kid is probably ashamed.. It sucks.. Don't argue about what he needs or not the kid probably feels bad as it is..

even if USCIS asks for sponsors why would they want Greencard sponsors... i would think they would go towards USC. just my 5 cents.

Yep nowhere on their website does it say that DACA needs 3 green card sponsors. Total BS. Not sure why he would come up with that.

Most of the people I've seen denied are because of
  • Lack of proof
  • Criminal records
  • Failed to send RFE
