that's what i fucking thought i'm sorry excuse my language but i'm just madddd over 7 months over 4 months since i sent my rfe it's like what else i can do

i feel you im on 6th month mark in 3 days . might just end up starting to work again kill some time ,

SO this is what i got in mail today.....My lawyer did a service request couple of weeks ago and they said

"The required background checks for the subject case remain pending. We will render a decision as soon as the background checks are complete. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 90 days of this letter, you may contact [email protected].

Has anyone received this kind of respond?
I believe that if you have your lawyer do E-request it's more accurate it's not generic respond......the same lawyer did service request for my sister in law for Nebraska service center for her it says something like the officer started to review her application on 03/28 and she will hear something in 30 days...... her application was sent sometime in octomber..

anyways i don't know what i'm gone do i guess i have to wait for 90 days but my thing is if my lawyer made a service request in Jan. the background check would have been clear by march since that would be 90 days i don't know anything anymore i'm just maddddddddd as i can be but there is nothing i can other than wait so i guess i'll just wait with a smile ;o)

Just got a response from my service request...basically said my case requires additional review and if no decision or action is made in the next 6 months then I should them back. I have a clean record and I honestly don't know what to do anymore

yeah sound familiar with a previous case , but the girl called rather then requesting , they told her the exact same thing theyve just told you , but through the phone rather , the next day , bang she was approve , so who knows ? maybe its just sitting there and they have yet to take a look at it ?

Dream big did you get rfe'd on the arrest? If so what did you send? I haven't gotten my rfe letter (still in the mail) but I think it may be because of my arrest for minor in possession of alcohol. Stay strong it will be here before you know it!

I'm still waiting as well haven't heard from from uscis the last message NSC sent me was "The processing of your case has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision, as the required investigation into your background remains open.

Until the background investigation is completed, we cannot move forward on your case. These background checks are required to be completed on all applicants who apply for the immigration benefit you are seeking. We will make every effort to make a decision on this case as soon as the background checks are complete. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please contact customer service at the number provided below" and then I sent another about 3 weeks later and this was the last message they sent me on march 13........."Good morning,

The processing of your cases has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that the cases are not yet ready for decision as it is under an ongoing review.

We cannot move forward on your cases at this time. We will make every effort to make a decision on your cases as soon as the review is complete. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 90 days from the date of this message, please contact us again for updates.

We will forwarded a copy of your e-mail and attachments to your file, for the officer to review and take under consideration.
