DACA: Background Criminal Check

I'm gathering the paper work to apply for DACA and I'm stuck trying to prove that I am not a criminal. By that I mean, I can't figure out a way to prove that I don't have a criminal record. Any websites or places you guys have gone to get this verified? Or would if matter if I don't send anything showing that I don't have a criminal record.

Hey if you have a record they're going to find it, if you don't have one then you don't have anything.

They will know if you are or are not. Send in the application.

uhmm they are not asking you to prove it if you have never deal with the police then dont worry if not just get a state criminal backgrund check and FBI one

Send your paperwork as it is, and if everything looks good, they'll send you a schedule for your biometrics (fingerprinting). If you didn't do anything, then nothing will show. If you did, they'll find out too based on the bio results.

Innocent till proven guilty lol you don't have to prove you're not a criminal cause you're not considered a criminal unless proven that you are which will be determined by your biometrics (finger prints)

Why do you think you need to prove you are not a criminal? Did you read it some place? or did someone tell you?

You don't need to prove that. That is something they figure out on their own with fingerprinting. The only time you need court documents is if you have a criminal record.

I was listening to this lady that called a talk radio station and here was her story.
I forgot what reason she gave but she had good reason to have $10,000
cash with her in her car at the time. She got pulled over for something and the and cop asked
her why she had all that cash with her. She gave her explanation, but nonetheless they took it
away! She said that she had to prove that she did not acquire that money illegally or through
fraudulent means!
She called a few months ago (to the radio show) and said that she had still not received her money.

So all is not nice and clear.

That story makes no sense. They probably seized the cash because they probably found something on her. The only way they would have found that money is if she had agreed to a search of her car. If it was a regular pulling her over it would have been just her license and registration. The cops would not just seize the money. It is not their money and it is not a crime to carry large amounts of money. Now large amounts of money and a little bit of drugs on you and you most likely get it taken away on suspicion of distribution or intent to sell.

i've seen stories about this too i think on tv. .like in texas or oklahoma around there they'll think you're a drug dealer or something stupid. .usually in a small town and if you're just driving by and not from around there. .
