right now anything that will allow my father to have a work permit, social security and drivers license is good enough! his business is booming and it sucks he cant obtain a DL or buy a car to get around. he takes the bus instead and the train! he carries all his tools with him and equipment. talk about fucking hard work!

wait so they will only get a work permit? what about visa? my parents havnt seen their family back home for more than 15 years. i knw theres advance parole option but thats risky =[

Good Jesus, Obama just agreed to entitlement cuts the Repubs were demanding, and now that he's given in, they said "We'll take the cuts, but no, you cannot have your tax increase".

I dearly hope with all my being that we're not thrown under the bus in these negotiations - and when I say "we", I mean all the undocumented - just for the sake of getting the racists (Sessions, Lamar Smith, et. al) to sign the document. Their votes have never been expected to be "yes", so...I just don't get the sense that anyone is really fighting for "comprehensive" nor "fair" legislation. I feel as if they just want to get this off their backs, that's it.
