Ok, I checked with my friend. He says there is only a checkpoint in Temecula on your way from SD to LA. So, avoid that "route."

theres is one on every freeway going out of SD so theres really no way to avoid one thats why I wouldn't risk taking them

I got accepted today to UCSD as a transfer student. I'm considering going to Transfer Admit Day on May 11th. Caravan from L.A., anyone? I don't drive, though. Working on it... practicing to pass the behind-the-wheel test for my license.

Congratulations!!!!! UCSD is a very good school as you know.

What are you majoring in?

I went to SD this weekend. Im from the IE... took the 215 > 15 > 163 > to my destination. Same way back. I did see the checkpoint but it was closed?? It's next to a truck scale on the 15 fwy by Temecula. Is it ever open? lol this is my second time cruising through it, but both on the weekend.
