social security verification irs

So I filed my taxes in feb I got my refund back still missing the state one I believe
I got a letter today saying that they couldn't match my ssn and to verify my social security with my 2012 w2 form
They r asking me to send in a copy of my ss
W2 form
And current paystub
Am I in trouble should I do send it?
I was working with a fake ssn in 2012 and when i filed my taxes i did it under my real ssn.

same thing hapen to me i send them the info they request and i havent hear anything back ?

i got the same letter as well.
I sent:
-Last paycheck stub with updated ssn
-copy of ssn card
-letter from social security office saying that the new number belongs to me

I didn't send my 2012 W2 form due to the fact that the fake ssn that i was using for work appears on it. I faxed all copies to them on friday but havent heard back either.

I never heard back from them but I'm guessing they were able to verify the number with no problems because a few weeks ago the state deposited the money into my bank account.
