I mailed on sept 28th 2012, they received on 10/4 and bio was done 10/30, in feb 15 it was transferred. its been more then 6 month what are they talking about being with in the normal processing times =/

i got the exact same message , looks like they wont even allow doing erequests anymore , i guess they are pretty much aware of whats going on , my guess is just to keep on waiting and give them time to sort things out , i watched on the news today that daca applicants have dropped severely they went from 117 thousand on oct to 17 thousand on march , sounds like a mess to me for the month of october

agreed, hopefully something really soon. Having my fingers crossed that it arrived before 17th of april so I can have a normal ID and not my passport to travel with. I just want to have ID like everyone.

Hm if they moving so slow I can imagine when immigration reform passes how long before some1 actually gets a permit smh daca is probably less than a million apps immigration reform will be a couple million smh this just shows that the service centers aren't ready for mass processing

The reason why is because on all service centers they are only working on August 31,2012 and before that date because its back logged yes there might be a couple of people getting approved with different dates but it all depends with your immigration officer some are fast some are slow and like to really investigate in your background. Like me I did a expedite request and I get this back "Type of service requested:
-- Expedite

The status of this service request is:

We are unable to expedite your application at this time as this case is under going additional review and requires a longer processing time than normal.

If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283."
