If you guys missed today's episode it was about a border minuteman who when to live with a family of undocumented workers. He worked as a day laborer and had to live in a tight place with seven other people. He also traveled to Mexico to check out how living conditions are there, and why some many people are dying such to come to the United States. In my opinion his point of view did not changed 180 degrees, but he soften to some level, that he actually called them "friends" at the end. He also attended the marches a couple of months ago. It was pretty interesting, I think they will replay it some time this week in the channel FX, for anyone who missed it and wants to check them out.

I agree with GOW125. Though Frank did not completely change, he was visibly affected by the whole ordeal. It seemed that he had a good rapport with the family, even telling the mother of the family, "a better friend I could not have." He was really hung up on the method of which they choose to immigrate. He made comments in an article that he was misrepresented on the show, but regardless, he had grown to love the family, which was why he offered to sponsor them through legal channels. I don't understand his logic in that sense because he is not related to them. He would have to sponsor them through employment. Regardless, it was a good show overall.

Here are some comments Morgan Spurlock made regarding the episode:

You know what. I'll eat my own head before I watch this garbage TV.
Reality shows are a disgrace. There is nothing real about them.

I understand your stance on reality shows, Nick. Some of them are truly nothing but garbage. But at the very least, it gets some attention to the plight of undocumented immigrants in popular culture. Mostly, people hear from pundits and partisan talk show hosts. The expanded viewership from 30 days at least gets out the message to those who otherwise are disinterested, regardless of the editing and "false representation" alleged by Frank.

That girl on the show should not be allowed to debate ever again. Very naive, from what I saw. I knew Princeton would not accept her since the first time she opened her mouth in the show.
