This is a video about an American citizen who lost his job to "illegal" immigrants. Yes, he does say A LOT of nonsence, like "because of illegals my son couldn't go to school and I had to bring him to the job site", BUT, I would be saying a lot of nonsence too if I lost my job to people who come from another country and do it for a lot less than I would. I know the responsible for that it's the general contractor that fired him and his crew, but something needs to be done. Blue-collar job people can't keep losing their jobs to "illegal immigrants" because the charge less and the employer doesnt have to pay taxes and so on. Well, there's not much I can say.

Just watch the WHOLE 7:42 min of video and think of what you would do if you were on this guy's shoes.

Here is the video, watch it and be the judge.

Wow... his son couldn't go to school because of us? That is irrational.

American citizens have more free will than us... it only takes a quick search for tons of scholarships... of course to those who deserve them it will be granted onto them...

Irrational comments.

I'm still tuning in.

He should not take it all on these "mexicans."

We are the creations of capitalism.

Illegal immigrants do not contribute to unemployment. There are more of us working then there are American citizens unemployed. Any economists can tell you there is no such thing as a fixed number of jobs. Some immigrants do lower the wages of citizens with similar skill levels but it is somewhere between 2-8%. There are many American jobs that would go overseas if it want for us including middle management jobs usually taken by american citizens
You of all people should know this.

I know he is talking nonsence, just like a mentioned in the beggining of the post. But i wonder how would you feel Abaddon and Luckyduck if you got fire because someone else did the same job for a lower fare. Im being serious. What would you do in this guy's shoes? Forget ALL about his son and all the nonsence he said. just focus on you losing your job to someone who will charge the contractor a fraction of what you charge, what would you do?

I dont know about you guys, but I would be furious...furios at the guy who fired me, furious at the people who work for less, furiors at the sun, at the moon, forious at everything.

All completely irrational... How about look for another job or consider earning less money. Would you be furious if you lost your job to say a person who does the job better but for the same money? I dont think its any different.

A--why would i make less money when im a professional carpenter with a buch on years of experience?

B--I wouldnt be furious if i lost my job to someone that does a better job for the same money, the problem here its that these guys are not doing it. Yes, a lot of undocumented people come for work to the U. S., but the truth its that most of them do not have the experience and expertize the guy has. And from the point of view of the contractor, the best business its the one that leaves you with as much profit as it can. Or do you think that the contractor fired these Americans because he thought that the "undocumented" work would be of a much higher quality? Remember that cheap labor means poor quality.

I currently work in a construction job, and since my boss only pays me a fraction of what I would be making if I had papers, I dont really put a lot of effort on the job (again, remember cheap labor means poor quality).

Now, when I do out-of-the-job work, I bring my A game to the table, why? because the money its for me. That's how the system works. Its not pretty, but that's how it is.

How did Bill Clinton give amnesty to illegal aliens? He was the one that passed IIRIA? The only "amnesty" that came out of Clinton was the 245i but even then most illegals couldn't qualify for it. (This is in response to his comment on Clinton giving amnesty). This guy is kind of crazy to be honest. All the yelling was not necessary.
