California DMV question

I already have a valid SSN number, my question is: Can i go to the DMV with my approval letter and get an ID?

No, they need to physically have your EAD card because they scan it and file it. I would just wait for your EAD, it takes like 5 days to receive it.

Yeap, take your EAD and SS card with you, that's pretty much exactly what you need. Also some cash to pay for the application for the ID
