Once I was in at the store looking for something. The closest person to me was a latino-looking male on crutches.

I never speak to people in Spanish, always in English. But that day I, for whatever reason, decided maybe I should give it a shot. I ask him in spanish where I can find the mayo. He looks at me funny and replies..."I'm sorry man, I don't understand."

I quickly corrected myself and he was more than happy to help out
hahaha yea I think i've done that once or twice too

"No 'mam"
"How you pay for any hospital bills?"
"I never went to hospital 'man"
"You never went to a hospital??"
"No, all I went was small clinics, and they're only like $50" (talking about those ... illegal clinics. And I only went for cold or flu)
"Well, you need insurance for that too. How you pay for it?" (Doesn't look believe me that is only $50)
"... er my parents?"
"So, you are under your parent's insurance? What do they have?"
"er... My parent doesn't have any insurance either"

She just typed away. One month later I got the SS card (all the while fearing that she won't give it to me).
Thats weird. When i went to go apply for mine they didnt ask me any type of questions they just looked at my application and typed it into the computer, 4 days later i had the social in my hands.

I think the FBI should be busting down your door any minute now haha. I think this will be fine, they would hunt you down if you lied in order to commit some sort of fraud but you would have been eligible for the SSN whether you lied about that detail or not. They do record these things but I don't think there is any problem there.
