Still, in March alone there were more denials than in the previous 7 months put together.

The denials are surprising because we only knew of a handful denials here on the forums, so seeing 841 in the previous month is pretty surprising.

Yeah, because you don't want that number to become the norm or the monthly average. I think is mostly lack of good evidence.

I wonder if they were linient when they first started and now they have started seeing patterns, they are now basing applicants based on other peoples qualifications, setting a standard

Because I am sure they have to work twice as hard on the application that gets denied. They probably ask for RFE then is not enough or whatever then they get denied. But still is less than 1%! do the math

The denials could be based on fraud as well.The program has been around for some time and some could be trying to take advantage of it.

Naw I really don't think so, I think it might be that al paco qualifies and gets his documents and then his cousin José only been here for 3 years and try's to jump on the USCIS bandwagon.. And gets screwed lol

i notice after the election denied is up. I think because all the people with a police record when and tried to give it a shot.

It could be that they sat on a lot of the cases.

It seems to me like getting approved requires only one person to OK it, but getting denied requires a review by the supervisors or something.
