Hello everyone.

I just want to say hello to everyone in the forum and offer my help in any way to get this important piece of legislation passed. I was brought to this country by my parents when I was three years old. We were lucky enough to receive our legal status through amnesty and I am now a US citizen. It saddens me to know that there are so many hardworking and gifted individuals in this great nation who are not allowed the same rights afforded to those who take our freedom for granted. This nation needs to understand that we, the immigrants, who fight so strongly for these rights are also the ones who will defend them at all cost for only we know what it means to live without them.
