I think is innacurate the last part you wrote . I think most RFE get looked at within a month or so of being received only in some case it has taken longer. I doubt they would wait months too look at it considering theres like 3-4 month that they give you to respond to you RFE not for them to look at it.

I got 2 notices on the 3rd and one on the 5th and I got the actual RFe in the mail on the 8th
