Amazon Chase card denied me because of my low income lol (Only 10k.)

I was thinking I would be denied by all though. My credit score shouldn't be in the system that fast. But oh well....the approved letter from Discover shows my FICO score of 766. Kinda high, isn't it?
That's a nice score

Yeah I applied for a Bank of America credit card when I first got my SSN in November and was denied but offers a secured credit card. But then last week I went to open a savings and Bank of America was offering me a rewards credit card with a decent limit. I was surprised. I took the offer and I was curious what my score was. So I checked it and its 734. So in very happy about that!

I did apply for a credit card, and in the denial letter it said my score was 524, and that is just terrible....... Which sucks cause my car recently broke down and I neeeed a car, like bad. :/
I'm having the same problem! I'm so confused as to what to do, I got denied for store cards, BoA student card, capital one reg (and the secured). I explained my situation to citibank, how my SSN is valid but very new, so I've been denied everywhere because they can't verify me...and she said she'd scan it and send it in. I'll find out in a week whether I'm approved or not but it looks dim. Sigh. I just don't get why some of us are having no luck with this and some of us seem to have no problem.

Yeah I don't get it, and it's frustrating! I'm gonna try a bank of america secured card, and if that doesn't work, I just straight up don't know what to do. Um weird question, but does anyone else's social start with 8? Cause some places wouldn't take my SS saying it was an invalid number...
