@zone2oo0,I suspect it is actually a conditional gc we're talking about for Dreamers.I don't think an individual can join the military with RPI status in addition Naturalization requires a form of US residency and even a Conditional one would suffice for those requirements.

Conditional Permanent Residency then 5 years, green card, then 3 years, citizenship

Even regular immigrants need to have their conditions removed, we would simply have it for a longer time. In the end it's indistinguishable from any other green card, the main difference is the expiration date, which instead of two years is six.
