I doubt we will
They are good for about a year I believe, and if that's the case, many of us will still have to go through them. I was DACApproved (XD) in September of last year and we are approaching that month very quickly.

"The Senate bill states that potential DREAMers must have been brought to the US at age 15 or before..."

"Those who have already been offered temporary protection – some 450,000 as of the end of March – would be “grandfathered” in to provisional legal status."

I came here when I was 15 and some months, and got my DACA approved way back in the beginning (one of the lucky ones) since the age limit cutoff for that was 16. So in this case, which one would trump the other, DACA or age restriction?

Age restriction of the actual law (if passed). DACA is not law, it's deferred action.

It's a long, long road ahead...but it's a breeze compared to what we've endured so far. Which practice are you interested in?

I couldn't find where they say that peolple who were DACA approved are grandfathered.. And what does that mean? We might not have to reapply for provisional legal status?

I think that 'grandfathered' means an easier application process since they have all of our info already. Maybe even automatic status if we're lucky.

Oh I love "Grandfathered" process! This is surely the best for the DREAMers
