‘(1) USE OF EMPLOYMENT RECORDS.—Copies

of employment records or other evidence of employ-
2
ment provided by an alien or by an alien’s employer
3
in support of an alien’s application for registered
4
provisional immigrant status under section 245B
5
may not be used in a civil or criminal prosecution
6
or investigation of that employer under section 274A
7
or the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 for the prior
8
unlawful employment of that alien regardless of the
9
adjudication of such application or reconsideration
10
by the Secretary of Homeland Security of such
11
alien’s prima facie eligibility determination. Employ-
12
ers that provide unauthorized aliens with copies of
13
employment records or other evidence of employment
14
pursuant to an application for registered provisional
15
immigrant status shall not be subject to civil and
16
criminal liability pursuant to section 274A for em-
17
ploying such unauthorized aliens.

‘‘(2) LIMIT ON APPLICABILITY.—The protec-
19
tions for employers and aliens under paragraph (1)
20
shall not apply if the aliens or employers submit em-
21
ployment records that are deemed to be fraudulent.



Can someone explain the above?

say you need evidence and you sent work records, they won't go after employers who hired illegal aliens before this bill

I think you meant the N-400,but nope they don't allow you to do that.It states under the bill those under RPI cannot apply for Naturalization[N-400] and must acquire Permanent Residency first.

What about employee who worked at that employer?

So how long does the Dreamer stay at GC status before becoming USC?

Does anyone know if the bill says anything about RPIs adjusting their status if they find other means of adjusting, i.e. their spouse or child being citizens and sponsoring them? Do they still have to wait the ten years or can they adjust faster through their spouse or child?

"(i) IN GENERAL. - In addition to the processing fee required under sub-paragraph (A) and the penalty required under section 245B(c)(6)(D), an alien who was 21 years of age or older on the date on which the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act was originally introduced in the Senate and is filing an application for adjustment of status under this section shall pay a $1,000 penalty to the Secretary UNLESS the alien metts the requirements under section 245D(b).
