Was finally able to start listening to this and I just want to make one comment to get it off my chest...

The bald man who spoke first saying illegal immigrants are taking blacks jobs. He says that like illegal immigrants, blacks hold most of the low skilled jobs in the US, like most illegal immigrants they only achieve a HS diploma or GED.

Well Mister, let me tell you something. UNLIKE blacks in the US "illegal immigrants" like you so calmly stated over and over, sometimes have no other choice but to take on these jobs. Not because it's what they want to do but because it is the only jobs where employers turn a blind eye to our status. I am of course thinking that by low skilled jobs he was not referring solely to agricultural positions because I do not believe a black man would be willing to pick vegetables and fruits for a living.

Also, UNLIKE blacks in this country a lot of us stopped our education at a HS level not by choice but because we are unable to attend institutions of higher learning for various reasons. Reasons that blacks in this country are NOT faced with!

So how about you stop complaining that we are going to take your jobs and go out into your communities and tell them to get their asses out of welfare and back to school or just stay in school in the first place. Because this is the chance that we are fighting for! We don't want all of your low wage/low skilled jobs, we want to be allowed to better ourselves and to use the degrees some of us have worked hard to obtain!

LEARN TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE!

Oh and also, yes we deal with getting wages that are well under what is deserved but this is also NOT our fault! UNLIKE blacks we see the opportunity to work and we take it! We know we are being taken advantage of, but what choice do we have? We have families to feed and kids to educate so unfortunately we bow our heads and take what we are given knowing full well that at least our families will have a roof over their heads and food on the table. It's called hard work! Look it up in the dictionary! Or better yet, go out into a field somewhere and see hard work rolling down the foreheads and wrinkling the faces of countless men and women who want nothing more than just a chance!

Ok rant over thanks!
