so yes.... my two last names are so freaking long!
I know I read somewhere that in order for you to only have one last time, you had to write only that last name in the first application. Well, obviously many of us didn't know that, or didn't want to risk putting incomplete info.
I guess it'll be a pain in the butt to try to change it, well whats done it's done

So my question is, is its okay to just put one last name in a job application even though your EAD and SS gives two last name?
what you guys think?

and don't get me wrong I'll rather have the longest name ever in my card than having
no card at all..........

If they try to e-verify you it'll come back as flagged because the names aren't an exact match. The same thing will happen with your taxes. If they aren't reported to the SSA exactly as your name appears on your card, they'll send you one of those "do not match" letters.

Don't worry about it. My EAD only has my initial for my middle name too. When I filled out the application at the social security office , I put it as its in my passport without a hitch. My social has all 4 names on it.

If your EAD came with 1 last name, then yes. If your EAD has more than 1 last name, then no. Your license name has to match your social security number/name in the SSA system and the SSA will make you put both last names.
