BS. Let's speak candidly here, for the Republican senators, CIR is about Latin people, aka, "Mexicans", and Mexicans aren't Islamic terrorists. What happened in Boston is terrorism and those in our favor in Congress should stand their ground and assert and call the Republicans out on this.

As if people automatically ascend to saint status once they become citizens...

It will affect the CIR but not enough to stop it. You can even ask why the USA doesn't involved over there like they did with Iraq?

This is more of a politcal issue between countries than immigration really

Republicans argued that gun control legislation could not/would not have prevented the murder of 20 innocent children in Newtown CT; but maliciously trying to link CIR to terrorism will prevent future attacks? Give me a break; if anything, CIR is needed to register every resident and know their background.

I agree dtrt09, hopefully these small minded idiots will realize that we need CIR to pass, to help prevent incidents like Boston among other things. Our current immigration system is old & outdated...

We still need to be VIGILANT! We cant give up! The people who oppose immigration reform will win that way. Anyone with eyes would realize that this incident is a good example on why we have to be tougher with who ever comes into this country, these people where LEGAL.

Oh, nice. I saw that one coming a mile away. If they want to disrespect me, they can come to my house and piss on my foot.

But, whatever. They just "shot" themselves in the foot. Everyone knows exactly what they are trying to achieve. Mind I need to remind the GOP of the presidential election last year.

Not like they'll ever care, my opinion is as unimportant as my status in this country.

On other news, the word "shit" is okay to say on television. The word "republican" has been added to the curse words list.
