it actually seems pretty true if you met all requirements graduated from a real high school , and of course you have no priors , my bro got approved mighty quickly he had a certified high school diploma and of course no priors . i guess thats what it all comes down to

Everything happens for a reason. Maybe this is a learning experience for us but who knows. Ill hit 7 months and I haven't worked or driven in 2 years. It's killing me but there is nothing we can no but wait. Unfortunately of course.

well for example alexander has a clean record but he attended a different type of home school , so im guessing their stuck trying to figure all that , remember they are looking for things out of the normal such as fraud

It will be 5 months in May. I have a friend that got approved in a month. I have clean record and graduated for high school. They have transferred my case 4 times. Those have been the only notifications that I have received from USCIS. Every time I received a text saying "Your Case Status has been updated" I was so happy and then I check and it was just to inform me that they transferred my application to another office. 4 Times Sucks. Nothing I can Do but WAIT.

App received - Dec 6 2012
Bio metrics notice - Dec 15 2012
Bio metrics taken - Jan 02 2013
Approved - Talvez mañana o pasado mañana, la otra semana, o el otro mes

Your still within normal processing times. Most of the people here have been waiting 6-8 months. It sucks but we can't do anything about it.

TodoBien: Based on my experience, meeting the requirements has little to do with how fast you get approved. I graduated for LAUSD. Submitted transcripts from 2nd grade through college. Along with my actual diplomas, etc.....Going on 6 months

My brother: same evidence...approved 3 weeks after his bios

Brothers friend: similar evidence....was approved after 6 months 3 days.

All three with clean criminal records. All california service center. All with the same timeline.

Seems random, but the only difference between the three of us was that my brother had no credit history, no employment history, he always worked for cash. And no prior cases with USCIS. I was petitioned by my wife in 2005 and his friend was petitioned by his parents in 2003.

Seems like a clean background check is what makes the difference.
