I actually started eating healthy and working out as well about a month ago, as soon as I went on the winter break. I also got this new habit of puttin on some music and just walking to random destinations (several hour walk) several times a week. Eating healthy makes such a difference in how you feel. I did not pay attention to what I was eating much while I was in college, because I had maybe 5 min between classes to eat. I am not fat either (if only a bit overweight), but I do feel much better since I started eating healthy and working out, deffinitely worth the effort to pay attention to this stuff. My schedule is going to be a bit more relaxed next semester, so I hopefully I can keep it up.

Simply throwing out soda, all those sweet drinks, and junk food out of my diet has done wonders, you should all try.

Our front page and the news sections are quite a bit outdated too, but thank god I had some time this winter break and came up with a new news delivery system (more people will be able to post directly to the front page and the news section). That should be going up within a week along with some other updates. It's just bad timing, first my development machine croaked and I had to send it in for repair and now Abaddon is moving back to school and is going to be out of contact for some number of days. He has some parts of the site that he worked on and I need them for the update.

In other words; excuses, excuses, excuses...
Its moving slow, but I try to do whatever I can with the little free time that I have. Thanks for your support.

I'm glad you guys stay are looking to stay fit. A few starter points is that you can't target fat, you can't do crunches and loose belly fat. The only way to loose belly fat is to do cardio, in other words run and jog. And there really isn't any product that can help you loose fat, but there are food to contribute in loosing fat. You might want to invest in Fish Oil pills, they are not very cheap, but I usually buy them for $15 when I see them on sale for buy one get one free type sales. So I end up paying $15 for 2 bottles. Try looking online for something called "hiit training." That's the most efficient fat burning program, and it's very intense cardio, it targets fat and causes minimal muscle loss. Just remember that when you loose weight you will also loose muscle, and you can't avoid that.
Remember to take your oil pills, they are very healthy. It's basically fat (healthy fat) that makes you loose fat, it's confusing, but trust me, oil pills will help you loose fat. That's probably the only good product for fat loss that's not hazardous to your body.

I can't really give you that much advice when you don't show me what type of training you're doing. Tell me what you're doing, as in how many times a week, or if you're just doing home exercises. I can give you a good diet and good supplements that will maximize your efforts.

Nick, show me your workout log, and what you want to train, and I can also give you some good pointers. There are people that can workout for 2-3 month and accomplish more than someone that really doesn't know much and has been doing it for 12 month. So it's very important to know what you're doing.
Remember, it's 70% diet, 20% exercise, and 10% genetics. Those are rough estimates, but you can see that diet is extremely important.

Hooper, it is EXTREMELY bad to get married for immigration papers. Not only morally, but it is too risky and illegal. I do not recommend this for anyone, regardless of whatever struggle.

I thought about getting married but im in a complicated situation.I have a boyfriend who I love so much.Ive been with him for 4 years and i just told him about my situation.people might think i could just marry him but i cant because i really love him.it will feel weird to fake marry him for papers when this is the person i really want to marry later on in life.but i dont want to get arried so soon in life.so it wouldnt make sense to marry him for papers, then divorse him, then marry him again for real when im ready.does that make sense to ya lol.And also i dont want people thinking i was with him this long for papers.thats the last thing i want anybody including him to think.i really love this guy people.oh and hooper thanks for helping me out with my belly fat issue.I know i cant just loose fat from one area (god knows i wish i could) but i dont want to get too skinny everywhere because im already slim.i weigh 110 rite now.its just this giggly stomache that i have lol.its not that big either.rite now im not working out.im going to start.im planning on doing yoga which i luv 3 times a week and some cardio (walking for 30 to 40 mins) 3 times a week.I wanna start with walking because i havnt excersized in so long.Do you think this is good enough or do i need more.oh and my boyfriend bought me some resistance bands with the handles and the ones with out and 2 pound dumbbells so that i can work on my arms a bit for strength.do you have any advise on how many times i should do that and how should i use the things he bought me.he went back upstate so i cant really ask him.thanks alot

Thanks for understating brenda.
As for your questions, 3 times a week is perfect. Walking won't do you much. Try running for 1 minute then jog for 1 minute, and keep alternating without any rest in between. So it's basically run, jog, run, jog, run, jog. Do that for 10-20 minutes. That's called hiit training, and like I said before, hiit training targets your fat reserves with minimal muscle loss, and that's what you want. Make sure you warm up before you do your hiit, by just doing a light jog for 5-10 minutes, then you can start the run jog thing.
As for you resistance bands, you don't really get the full workout that a dumbbell provides, it gets easier to do an exercise when you return the band to its original position - I hope you know what I mean. But don't get me wrong, they are still good to workout with.

For your band, try this site: http://exercise.about.com/cs/exercis...andworkout.htm

for you dumbbells...
For triceps, do them on both arms.
http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/exerc...extensions.htm

these are also good, again, try these on each arm. Also, don't move your legs like they show on the picture, your legs don't move and your back too. The only thing that's suppose to move is your arm.
http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/exerc...lkickbacks.htm
or you can try these...these are easier to do then the ones above.
http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/excer...lkickbacks.htm

For shoulders
http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/excer...ell_raises.htm

Go up and down on these, you don't have to hold that position...
http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/exerc...iclaterals.htm

These are good for biceps...
http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/exerc...ationcurls.htm

Do 3 sets for each muscle, choose the exercise that you're more comfortable with for each muscle. Do the exercise 10-15 times, then rest and repeat that exercise 3 times. You can also workout without resting, since you're not doing heavy weight.

Remember that your diet is more important. Eat eggs (without the yellow stuff). I cook scramble eggs, I usually cook 5. I put 2 whole eggs and the 3 left I only add the white/clear stuff, the yellow stuff I throw away. You MUST eat oatmeal, cook it, boil it, it eat raw, but it get in there. Tuna, fish, yams, chicken (not the fried one), milk (try the 0% or the 1%). My favorites food is pancakes, you can add eggs, and milk. Peanut butter, cottage cheese (not the mozzarella cheese, only cottage cheese, no other type of cheese). Switch to olive oil, get rid of the Mazola. Avoid hydrogenated food, watch out for peanut butter that has hydrogenated oils, the Skippy brand is bad. You can see if it has hydrogenated oils by looking at the ingredients, partially hydrogenated is not as bad, but still try to avoid it. That's about it for the basics. Good luck with your workout!

I'm not very scientific in my approach since for now I have to work out at home and I dont even have dumbells (I should get some). When I go back to school I'll have access to a proper gym. So all I do now is pushups, pullups, various types of crunches and thats pretty much it. I alternate between those as I get tired. One thing I have noticed, and one of the reasons I started doing SOME kind of work out, is the fact that you do loose muscle when you diet. That hiit training thing seems interesting. I'm proly gonna start jugging, I'll do that for a week see how it works out for me.

When you are ready to take it to the Next Level try NO2 and Ce2. You should also try some glutamine for recovery. To begin with 3 days is fine but you should add some more days eventually when you get used to it.
