Hey guys, I have a question for all of you who have been waiting for around 5 to 6 and maybe 7 months. Are your cases complicated or special? Or do you have a very common first name and last name like myself and maybe that's another reason why we are waiting longer?? Are you older than most dreamers? like maybe 29 or 30 like me? I've noticed all my friends who are in their early 20's getting approved faster. What are the reasons why you think your cases are taking so long? Please share your thoughts, I'm curious!!

i will be 30 in June, have an approve I-130 with USCIS, my 2nd last name (Moreno) is common, no criminal record what so ever.

i received a RFE and on April 8th, 2013, my case status was updated reflecting that USCIS had received my RFE. now just waiting on a decision. hoping to get one soon. (finger crossed)

That's crazy! so I guess I was right about somethings. I'm 30, I have like the most common hispanic name you can think of lol and a common last name as well, when I was in high school 5 people had my first and last name, in college I remember there were like at least 10 to 15 guys with my first and last name also. I'm not sure if having had a ticket for open liquor in my car is consider a misdemeanor?? I have no criminal record, I only have that ticket for open container and that's about it. I never received a DUI or went to jail at all. Could that be another reason for my delay?
