MadMan, since you seem to have a lot of answers I have a question for you. I just found out that some of my mail isn't getting to me I was missing an insurance and cable bill and called each company and they both assured they mailed them to me also a friend of mine sent me a card which I also did not get ; I am waiting for my bio letter and i'm scared that I won't get it or haven't gotten it if it was already sent... where would I call to ask if the letter has been sent I really do not wanna miss my appointment because of mail problems!! Thank you!

Here ya go my friend. Those are some steps. Be sure to include copies of your documents. Also, I think if you call the IRS directly you can do it by phone instead.

Glad you found the number.

Why are you not receiving your mail? Now I am paranoid.

As far as resigning the ITIN goes, I literally went straight to the IRS office downtown to do it in person. I didn't trust doing it by mail.

I went pretty early in the morning and was in and out within 30 minutes. Mostly because I have never filed with my ITIN. I've always been a dependent until now. So the guy took my old ITIN letter, and told me to start using the SSN for all tax purposes from now on.

Also, it's in building #2 (the smaller one on the east side). I walked into the wrong one and had to walk through the parking garage to get to the right place. Lol.

Good luck everyone!

First and foremost, I am glad to read so many people getting approved. and to those still waiting, hang in there, in all honesty, one can't really tell when one will get approved.

i have two questions.
1. I took my biometricks on Las vegas, is that where they are going to be doing the review of my case too?
2. will the office speed up their process when my attourney calls them? lol
I believe the review of your case, is based on which service center it was mailed to. My attorney, has told me that after the biometrics, we pretty much wait. the attorney calling up the office, does not speed anything up. we just sit patiently and wait for that text or email. Each case is different obviously, but they will get to your case when they do, not much else we can do about it, and filing with an attorney doesn't make the process go faster, it just makes filing paperwork easier. Reading through the thread, I am happy to say I live in North LV, as I hear the DMV instructors at this location are much more lenient.

Hi guys. I thought I would update how my life has been post DACA. I am happy to say that I have been busy working at a fine dining restaurant. I don't know if this is something I will keep long term, but this is the first job I applied to and got. The pay is pretty good and I am full time, so I am thankful to have a job.

I hope everyone who are still waiting will have speedy approvals.
