I have been approved for daca and I received the I797 approval notice. I was wondering when I get the work card? Or was I supposed to receive it with the I797? Also, what happens once I get the card, and apply for a ssn? Do I get the # right on the spot or must I wait for it in the mail? Thanks for the help I don't really know people who I can ask this stuff to, other than the lawyer but I'd rather not.

You should be getting a text or email telling you that they have mailed it and they give you the tracking number it should be there in a couple of days.

On other news, the word "shit" is okay to say on television. The word "republican" has been added to the curse words list.

When did you send your application? Sound like you received the receipt notice for you applications. Not an approval yet. If so, prepare for a 4-6 month wait.
