New official data out yesterday. The denials are increasing, over 1000 denied last month.

I think it is a combination of that and also the dreamers who do not qualify have seen everyone eventually being approved and decided to try it on in the last two or three months. The unfortunate think is these denied dreamers will possibly face deportation if they were denied for fraud.

Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a question. My brother was arrested once for using a fake ID to buy alcohol when he was under 21 (I understand that this is stupid but he was young at the time) but wasn't charged with anything. Although he spent a night or two in a holding cell, he wasn't formally charged and his case was thrown out by the courts. Will this weigh in heavily on his case for deferred action? Despite this mishap, he definitely meets all of the qualifications for deferred action as he is college educated, has all the documents to prove that he has been in this country for over 14 years and is under the age of 30. And in addition to that, other than using a fake id, he hasn't committed any other crime during his stay here.

It is a desperately frustrating time for him currently because he is being head hunted by tech firms and ad agencies (he is a free lance copy writer at the moment since he can't legally get a job.) but he can't accept any of their job offers. He also has been waiting for any news of his case for over 7 months.

You guys I feel like my life is falling apart... It literally seems like I've been on house arrest for so long. Can't drive, can't go to school, can't work. Ugh I feel like I'm gonna go crazy pretty soon. This wait is killing me

i dont think so man , its just a matter of time , seems like those with different cases are being force to wait longer , for example im in removal of proceedings and still pending a decision , 7 months 14 days , its just a matter of time , theres many of us out there
