Give Republicans some amendments that will tighten up the requirements for path to citizenship as long as that means more support for the legalization and right to work/travel part of the CIR. The paths to citizenship part can anyway be amended down the line when the composition of congress changes. People needs legalization and this is what matters the most to probably 90% of families and individuals that are concerned about the CIR bill.
