You guys shouldn't stress much about waiting. I would stress about it too until I took notice of the way it was affecting my day to day life. Sometimes I couldn't even sleep thinking of things like..what if something went wrong?what if I get denied?what did I do wrong?..etc...thing is, we can't do anything but wait and be optimistic about our application. Set it aside and live your life without stressing much about it..... Before you know it you'll get that text that you've been approved or get that letter of approval. Live life like before we even got a chance for a permit.

They criticize yet they don't really provide a solution (or maybe it was the article).

Yeah, some of us still have a loooooong way to go. No purpose on stressing about it.

The funny thing is that when the program was introduced, uscis said the program would pay for itself and that they've hired extra help to handle the work load. After about a month or so after the program launched last August they reported that they anticipated more people would apply and only a fraction of them did. Just imagine if the amount of people they thought would apply had applied. We would be waiting for years. Incompetent bastards.

To everyone still waiting,
Have patience; God has a plan for each of us. I, too, was stressed and worried about my application. It was almost seven months before I got my approval, but I now firmly believe in God and his plan. My approval happened the 15th, I had two interviews the next day (I had gone ahead and sent apps to firms and thought I was gonna have to let them down after the interviews because until the 15 I had nothing), I just received my EAD in the mail, and next week, I will be flying to another state for an internship for three months. So to all you out there, I understand your stress and mental exhaustion created by the wait, but please, please have faith that all will happen in God's time. We are truly dreamers, and we all deserve this opportunity.

Congrats on your apporoval! GL on your internship.

Sorry but i completely disagree with the whole God thing. This happened because Dreamers fought for it, because Latinos voted in high numbers, and because Obama wanted to be reelected.

Dont mean to be a jerk or insult you in any way but giving the credit to God diminishes the real work that Dreamers and our supporters are actually doing in the real world.

Again, lots of luck on your internship.

Sure, I agree with you in that there has been a lot of work others have done for this to be a reality and an opportunity to us, but I am referring to the seemingly endless wait we have all endured before approval.

Honestly I have officially lost hope, my patience, time, and faith! If they want to approve me great! If they don't great!! I've been here my whole life! (20 years) I'm going to continue living life to the fullest! Keep on studying and move forward! Being legal isn't everything! And I'm not gonna sit and wait any longer! Congrats to all that have them!! Please don't be stupid and waste the opportunities !! (Hope is forever gone!! ) 8 months is ridiculous!!
