Anyone has a lease?? I'm looking to lease the '13 ford fusion. People have told me for lease you must get full cover, is that true? Also I'm 29 and living in NYC, I tried a geico quote and lowest it gave me was 260 for the fusion, does that sound right for a new car? It gave me 115 for a 06 Honda civic.. So I'm guessing new cars are expensive to insure

The general doesn't insure Florida...at least not in south Florida. I have insurance with progressive and it's 124/month for full coverage but I'm also 28, female, married and have good credit. So it's many different factors you have to consider. I also suggest trying esurance. I had them before I switched to progressive. I always end up getting insurance online since my license has been expired for 5 years

You do have to get full coverage. At least in FL that's the case but I'm sure it's probably the same nationwide. The reason for the full coverage is because you don't own the car and whoever you're leasing from will require it for liability issues. Same goes for if you buy a car and it's being financed

I work for a personal injury attorney and most clients have no clue about insurance. Some people think having high policy limits means that they have full cover but they don't, all you do when you have high policy limits is insuring whomever you hit should you get in an accident. The best way to set your insurance is with a low policy limit, high deductible and make SURE you have medpay and un/underinsured motorist coverage.

Hello Guys!!!

I live in Florida, and I currently have auto insurance without a florida license. I actually work with an Insurance Agency that works with different carriers ( Progressive, EGI, AssuranceAmerica, Infinity, Foremost etc). Like other posts, a lot of factors will come into play when getting a quote for auto insurance. I have my dads car, a 96' ford with the fla state minimum requirements insured under my name and he is paying only $130 a month. If you live in fl and you want to get a quote, or speak to someone in the agency where I work let me know by sending me a private message.

U guys are making this all too complicated. Just go around and get quotes from different insurance companies if u wanna see how much ur rates are going to be. nobody here can give an accurate estimate.

since u r in florida, i'll give u a hint - http://www.4autoinsurancequote.com/s...uto-insurance/ start there.. find your agents and get ur quotes!
