Working as an Accounting Clerk doing mainly data entry/filing taxes. Getting very boring and low pay now. Need to get a new job.

I personally wouldn't mind a job as an office assistant (you know filing, data entry, phone calls), but everyone demands 1+ years of experience, it's something that requires a week crash course and you can do it. It just begs the question of "Where should I get experience if no one is hiring?".

Here's the best ad I've seen on craigslist.

Destefanos Steakhouse in Williamsburg is looking for an experienced waiter/waitress to work the dinner shift on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Only applicants with a minimum of 5 years experience with a working knowledge of wines will be interviewed. The experience must be in a Zagat rated restaurant or a restaurant with a minimum 4 star rating. The ideal candidate will be a non smoker with a professional demeanor and appearance. Please incorporate your resume in the body of the e-mail. For security purposes attachments, WILL NOT be opened. We look forward to hearing from you.
5 years of experience for a part time job as a waiter.

I hope this business suffers. There is no chances being given at all for starters.

I think servers working at that specific restaurant makes close to 6 digits a year.
Of course including tips....

I've sent about 10 online applications (all medical field related) and tomorrow I finally have my first interview to work in a laboratory. Fingers crossed, it would look great in my resume. I work at a doctor's office right now, but once I finish school I want to work for a pharmaceutical company and that's why a laboratory experience is a must for me.
Approved in January.

I'm a semi full time banquet hall waiter. pay and hours are good but it's time to move one. I've been applying all over the place since I got my social about a month ago. No responds so far but hoping for that one call all it takes is one call lol.
