Updated timeline below, happy for everyone that has been approved

SO BUMMED to see that the text message sent from UCIS was not an approval but a transfer to a a location that has jurisdiction for my case. At least I know it's moving but I had my biometrics done Jan.15.2013. SO I don't know when or why or how or time it's going to come in but I'm sweating it because I'm so anxious!!!


"On May 21, 2013, we transferred this I821D Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283." MERRR

Same here with me today I recieve a mail from uscis that they transfer my applicaion.

hey guys a guy from my church was just approved last week, and received his work permit last tuesday
he sent his in mid january and was transferred beginning of april
I sent mine beginning of december and it was transferred to a local office today

i havent hit the 6 month mark yet so i can't call or do anything about? anyone that has been transferred DOES get approved and it looks like it happens quick

my lawyer said its a good thing that my and your case is being transferred, most of her clients were approved a month or two after the transferred

Not to be a debbie downer, but I was one of the first people who were transferred back on February 15th and still nothing...

Hopefully you guys have better luck though...

Wow that's crazy... I was mad when I notice everyone around me was transferred feb.15. But I was transferred march 6 and I was approved last week... I got a rfe a month after the transfer send it back 3 weeks later and approve 2 days after they receive my rfe.. I would have thought they where atlease finish or all most finish with February transfers.. I believe some reps handling some cases fast than some.

My DACA applications just got transferred today too, doesn't specify a service center, just says to a 'local office' with jurisdiction over my case. My heart almost dropped for a second when I saw the text on my phone this morning.. I guess it's just more waiting from here on.

Does anyone know if the application being transferred means there won't be any RFE's now? I ask because my lawyer had to send some additional documents two months after sending my applications.

(that was not in response to an RFE, we just had to update personal info. We're crossing our fingers that they received it and put it with the rest of my application to be reviewed, and didn't just toss it..)
