I was laughing my a$$ off when he told you to hitch a ride with friends/family every day. Within 1 month, you no longer will have any friends/family members who speak to you, less give u a ride. They'll all cut all relations with you lol

So you guys rather take the risk of getting deported than asking friends and family members for rides? seems like you guys weren't the brightest lemons on the tree... Nice family and "friends" you got there, if they know the tough situation your in and are denying you a helping hand then you got more than an immigration problem going on there..
My parents and I get rides from friends and family to work almost everyday, and we dont just freeload off them for rides we help pay for gas and give them cash weekly. You cant just expect to get free rides without helping out with gas and cash for their effort in helping you out... One final thought, if you know your breaking the law and get caught then dont come on these forums bitchin and moaning that you got arrested, you were asking for it.

Not ridiculous or funny at all. Walk, take a bus, or have your family give you rides. We all have done it here. If your friends/family haven't done it for you, I'm sorry to hear that.

If you want to drive without a DL, sure go ahead. But understand there is a risk of deportation, know what you're getting yourself into and not whine about it later.

That's obviously common sense to give money and help out if you are getting rides 100% of the time. Anyways there's no bitching or whining that I'm doing I know exactly what I'm getting myself into when I drive, I'm not the only illegal that currently does it, nor will I be the last, so if you wanna be supportive feel free to comment otherwise thank you for your opinions.

Resorting to personal attacts of someone's intelligence isn't a better argument, and in fact shows ignorance on your part for other people's personal problems. It's called empathy and you lack it

That's great, and you're certainly lucky for that. But just because you can make a sitaution work in your favor, doesn't mean others will be able to do the same.. You do realize that's exactly the kind of logic those against things like DACA & immigration reform use: "Why can't you just find a way to get legal like others?". Your point is moot because not everyone is in the same circumstances as you are.

Also, no one here is 'bitchin & moaning' except you. Believe me everyone here knows the consequences of being undocumented. And this is a forum to share our experiences & advice with others, if you have neither to offer, then what do you really expect people to do with your comments?

Are you suggesting that it's someone's fault for not having better family / friends that will help them with these situations? I didn't know one could simply go sign up for 'nice' family/friends.. This is victim blaming, and it helps no one.

FutureLegal13, Sorry you had to go through this experience, hopefully the stress will be over once you get DACA.

I was thinking, if they didn't get your fingerprints, then it's probably not a very serious offense, so you'll likely be fine once you explain to the judge your circumstances. Like someone mentioned, maybe it's possible that the Judge will have you come back to 'fix' the ticket when you get your license. That way there won't be any record. Good luck!

I completely agree with what you have to say, there just happens to be ignorant people on this forum who instead of helping others and being more supportive of the current situation that they might be in, they rather fuzz and try to stress the situation out.

I still remember when I got pulled over for not having my headlights on around 8am. I had just actually stopped to pump gas. And forgot to turn then on granted it was a clear October day he asked me for license and insurance, but I didn't have the 1st one. He just told me to turn them on, gave me a ticket and told me to be safe, funny thing is that I used to work at a fast food place and he would come by and I remember giving him discounts since I figured he could been a dick and impounded the car. He was actually nice
