Card/ Document Production

On May 28, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

This is my Work Permit Status

So @Todo Bien should I get worried or not?? Please help me.

dude it happens to everyone their work permit goes into production it happens to EVRYONE , at least the majority of people ., a few hrs later including days the daca goes into approve , you shouldve just relaxed , overall tho i hope that call doesnt affect the outcome i dont think so tho because everytime you call uscis it is clear that they do not know whats going on , at least the people on the phone , but if its still in card production , WAIT IT OUT , daca should be approved soon

Thanks that brings me hope. When do you think would be a good time to call if DACA is not approved soon?

so its been a couple days over 7 months now... I tried putting in a service request when i reached my 6 month mark but it wouldnt let me. I called and they said they were doing those before August 31st and to just wait... This morning i looked at the processing times and it no longer says august 31... it says 6 months... i tried putting in a service request and it went successfully... so lets see what they come up with.. what makes me more frustrated is the fact that i spent 1k in a lawyer bueno pa nada! i have been the one on top of my s***... anyways lets see how much longer is this wait going to last...

i know! nebraska seems like it slowed down suddenly. i thought this is the only service center that's never late. my 7 month already reached. i havnt filed for service request because i heard its useless. did you have any previous case before or any criminal record? maybe thats why its taking long?

neither! i did a service request bc thats about all you can do... idk i feel california is the fastest among them... i have a friend whose total process took 1 month... he filed in march... most of my friends who filed after me already got their stuff but theirs were sent to California... so idk... they all suck! good luck though!

My application reached the 6 month mark yesterday. I won't file an e-request or call USCIS to inquire because I know this is quite normal for many DACA applicants.

I've been reading that some people on this forum spend hours waiting on hold to speak with an agent about their application. Why? It just leaves less time for them to work on cases, thereby slowing down the process. I probably wouldn't call unless I was mistakenly denied (like DAVIDHOPE) or if I've been waiting 8+ months.

Good luck everyone!
