So I havent worked in two and a half years so far. I decided to apply for a District Manager position a few days ago and I'm already going through the second interview. To bad my papers won't arrive in time for me to accept it. So far it's been 9 months and 9 days. Damn

Have you gotten a real answer as to why it's taking so long or just generic bs?

"The status of this service request is:

We have received your inquiry stating that your Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (Form I-821D) is beyond the expected six month processing period. USCIS is making every effort to process these cases within the stated timeframes and hope to move your case in the near future. However, at this time we cannot provide a specific date on which a final decision will be made on your request for deferred action."

Hi guys! I'm new to posting but not to following the forum. My family and gf used to keep me from this pages "to keep me sane" as they know I'm very impatient. I still secretly checked the forum everyday and confess to checking my status online multiple times a day. Well I'm 5 days away from the 6 months and I can't take it anymore, so I thought I tried venting out with u guys as I feel you guys are the only ones that can understand me. I'm a college graduate with an engineering degree and thinking I was getting my stuff fast I went ahead and started applying for jobs. This great company gave me a super great job offer with even the option to go out of the country ( which idk if it could be possible with daca) and now I had to put them on hold because I still haven't received my card. They have been patient with me as I was supposed to have started already (in May) and they have given me the chance to wait for my stuff and call them when I'm ready. I really hope that they don't get tired of me and just tell me that they can't wait any longer.

Well guys this is my story, thank you for the many nights of comfort that u guys have given me. As some times I can't sleep and I just get on the forum and start reading everyone's posts lol
