Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production


On May 28, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.


This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.


Did anyone else get this type of delivery? Lmk

MAD MAN! can i take the letter of approval to the ssa or does it need to be my card?

My Application was sent straight to Nebraska. I talked to my lawyer about this, and if it is transferred to another service center, that service center was just overloaded with applications. Probably just trying to even the workload of each location.

Take everything you have. I did. Although, they just want the card. Still, you never know.

Agree 100%. Undocumented or not, this is a great idea, if this ID is solely for DMV purposes only, shouldn't really matter a persons status I guess. the N.Decatur location always seems to go by pretty fast.

Just got my biometrics letter. Does anyone know how long the appointment takes?
