On 05/22/2013 you, or the designated representative shown below, contacted us about your case. Some of the key information given to us at that time was the following:

Our records show that your I-821D is currently pending adjudication. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date for your I-821D. We apologize for the delay.

Hopefully I hear from them sooner than later.

I got the same letter today. Such BS. They regret that they can't provide me with a timeframe... Yeah ok.

I told the human resources manager about the situation with the dept of homeland security and she is been really nice and understanding. .... On another note I have written down from when I last called uscis and it's funny that the guy told me that their processing time (6 months) showed that they would start working around my case by June 7. He probably just miscounted like I did. I wished they were more helpful like at the beginning. In march I called and the lady that answer the phone told me "son we are working on a 6 month processing time but let me look something up for you. And then she told me that in nebraska they were working on cases from October 6" so idk how she was able to find the exact date that they were working on. I wish they could give us that info now.
I guess they do this whole thing by random. Because my friend's app was received on 1/22/2013 and she was approved 4/26/2013. I sent mine in 1/28/2013 and is still under initial review. Both my friend and I have no criminal records, no previous cases, etc. Both of our apps were sent to Nebraska Service Center.

My theory is that female applicants get their applications approved faster than male applicants

we have almost identical timelines, I did a service request on the 28th of may and called a few times but they weren't of much help! the agents would only provide the info that i can see on the online tool thing. if you ask me, calling them is just a waste of time! if you get anything please let us know!

Yeah that could be a possibility! But who knows how they work! I have no criminal record as well and no previous cases. Only thing is that I came in legally with a visitors visa but idk if that matters. I wonder if our location or age matters. I would think that my case is easy since I met all the requirement and had all evidence. Also being a college graduate idk if that helps. But no here they have us waiting without giving us any information as to why other people get through faster.

Are u from Texas?

I'm a female and have been waiting for what seems like an eternity!
I don't think gender matters when it comes to approval. I think it's completely random.
