i guess once you hit your six month, they will start looking into it. i dont know if its some background check or other stuff. according to their database, nebraska takes 6 months on average. so some might get it on 5th and some on the 7th. if i dont hear anything within next week or two, im going to have to call them and find out

I guess they do this whole thing by random. Because my friend's app was received on 1/22/2013 and she was approved 4/26/2013. I sent mine in 1/28/2013 and is still under initial review. Both my friend and I have no criminal records, no previous cases, etc. Both of our apps were sent to Nebraska Service Center.

My theory is that female applicants get their applications approved faster than male applicants
